Limited to just 500 numbered copies, this elegant slipcased edition of Back to the Future: The Complete Screenplay brings the story of the celebrated film’s creation to life in vivid detail, as recounted by co-writer and cocreator Bob Gale.

Quarter bound in textured Wibalin paper with metallic silver cloth, debossed with silver and blue foils, and featuring three tip-on images, the exceptional craftsmanship of this package reflects the meticulous, in-depth exploration of the film within. The enclosed 348-page hardcover book features the complete shooting script—reproduced from Gale’s personal copy—alongside richly illustrated annotations by Gale himself.

Pairing each page of the 147-page script with rare images and Gale’s insights, the book offers a guided tour through the film’s creation—from concept through the film’s intense shooting schedule, and beyond. Highlights include rarely seen storyboards, newly-rediscovered unit photography, side-by-side comparisons with the “Eric Stoltz version,” previously-unpublished reproductions of set designs, and Gale’s insider perspective on the screenwriting and filmmaking process. Also exclusive to this edition are an 16-page appendix and 7 tip-in inserts.

Completing the set is a separate facsimile of the script, presented in its own protective slipcase. This faithful reproduction captures the working document exactly as it appeared during production, including the multicolored revision pages used to film each scene. Each copy is hand-signed by Bob Gale on the cover, making this edition uniquely collectible.
